Please help ASAP! Fluid on top of egg?? Ready to hatch????

geekogeek Jun 06, 2003 04:51 PM

I have an egg that should be hatching any time now. I just looked at it and there is some fluid like a drop of water on the top of the egg.

There is NOT excess moisture in the contailer and there is NO droplets of water on the lid of the container. Incubating in perlite Albey's Method.

Does this mean the egg is hatching?

Please help. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!1

It depends. My 3 hatchlings that hatched never formed droplets on top the 2 eggs i had that did decompressed I waited and waited after a couple hours i cut them open but the embryo had died. However i have had tons of people say that the water on top is a sign they will hatch and have had healthy babies hatch from eggs witch "sweat". SO good luck and keep us posted.
