Cage size and aggression

grafitti12 Jan 24, 2004 10:01 PM

My 8" bearded dragon is currently in a 10 gallon terrarium. I recently bought a 40 gallon breeder and am in the middle of getting it set up to transfer him into. He is flighty and somewhat aggressive. He has never bitten me but his constant bluffs are kinda intimidating. I can't hold him because he tries to take off. Will he be less flighty and aggressive when I move him into the 40 gallon?

my recomendaion is to keep him in the 10 untill he is a bit bigger, 10-12". A little Beardie in a 40 breeder makes it harder on him. he has to work a lot harder to catch crix. If he is skidish you will have to work harder to catch him.
