Invisible colors?

paradisio Jan 24, 2004 10:40 PM

What colors are invisible to leopard geckos, since they are nocturnal, I would like to get an appropriate colored bulb so I can watch them more naturally

I use a red party bulb. It doesnt seem to bother mine at all. And it doesnt overheat the tank.

It's not necessarily what they can't see, but what doesn't disturb their cycle. You and I could sleep quite happily in a red-lighted room, even though most of us can see the color.
Um, anyway... red seems to work well.

I figured most people don't read them, so why not have a little fun?
I would list all my pets, but the sigs are limited to 250 characters.
