Baby Veileds

stevie16 Jan 25, 2004 12:09 AM

I just got two new baby veileds both are one and a half months old. One is more of an aqua green that blue spots on it and the other is pretty typical a light green. (Both are males for my breeding project that I have started.) I was just wondering if these are stress colors on the one that has the blue spots or if its just a promising young little guy.(Hopefully)I also wanted to know when i have to seperate them into seperate cages.
I got them on the 22nd and they're in a 18 by 12 by 20 screened cage. Thanks for any responses!

The safe play is to separate them now. I suppose you could wait until you start to see differential growth but by then you've already stressed one or both of them. As I said, the safe play is to separate them now.
