Panacur is the most widely prescribed wormer for reptiles. It normally is safe and effective. 3 doses is the standard. If you are concerned about your vets. qualifications ask him or her about them. What type of training? what type of experience? You might want to consider giving your skink some probiotics after the worm treatment is over. It may help stimulate its appetite. Panacur is the thing for worms. IMHO
