Guess I made a mistake buying from that company, I really just have to wait and see what happens : ( I looked around their website, and saw the comments from customers.

After I made my purchase, I fought this wonderful forum here, which I wish I had found first.

My next question is: I was looking under the classifieds here, and noticed lots of baby turtles and hatclings for sale. What is the difference between what they are doing, and what arts of nature is doing? And are these companies better to work with?

There's not really a big difference... except the people on the classfieds aren't selling bad 'starter' kits and aren't tricking you into thinking you're adopting. Otherwise, they probably got the turtles from the same big farms....
I don't think there's any reason to believe the turtles you get will actually be unhealthy, so concentrate on them first. Hatchlings can be pretty tough to get going, though.

"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."
