i actually don't (yet.. hehe) have any tangerines or anything (i'm a snow girl), but i was wondering about something. i know that captive-bred fire-bellied toads can be fed crickets dusted with the red-inducing powder fed to canaries (i think it's called nekton-r), and their stomachs then become red, simulating the effect of their diet in the wild. so, since everyone seems to be in a race to create a 'red' gecko, has anyone tried this with leos? granted, it would be 'cheating,' in that any additional red color would be due to diet and not genetics. but i was just curious if anyone knew if leos took up pigments from their diet at all. don't worry, i don't intend to try it, i was just wondering.
