UVB from Sun, Next Gen MVB

Has anyone used a UVB meter to check what the UVB level is outside, on a sunny day? I've seen ratings for bulbs but nothing to really compare them to.

Also, has anyone seen those next gen MVB lights? I heard they emit an insane amount of UVB, even more than what current MVBs give. Saw them on the site of some iguana keeper who was testing them, had readings around 1000 I believe...
