Varanus tristis orientalis Whats the Scoop? Mr. Bayless and others.

Oscar Parsons Jan 25, 2004 05:30 PM

I was curious if you could give me some references to look at concerning them.

Anyone know of any specific care sheets, like what individuals are doing for captive success? I'm just curious if I can dig up more info than I've already found. Thanks for your help.

Oscar

Hi Oscar,

I am not entirely familiar with V.t.o.'s, but I do have informations on them. Have you looked at Daniel Bennett's book? Matt Vincent's book? Ok, here is what I have on them:

Hey oscar,

I am slowly trying to put a little website together about my captive husbandry practices, any breeding/behavior observations, etc, as well as some other cool stuff. I finished the section for my tristis, although as my experience increases, I will constantly be updating it, but hopefully it will give you another perspective you can take into consideration. Take care, hope it helps a little..
