Frogs burrowing

azdartfrogger Jan 25, 2004 06:56 PM

Last night I got a new light so my moss wouldnt die. This morning I was watching my older green auratus and after 1 and half minutes he slid under some bark. Now he's been in there all day. Then the younger frog has been standing on top of the coco hut looking at the top of the tank. The older frog has also burrowed under a leaf, before I had a new light. But this just seemed weird. Any suggestions?

One of my auratus likes to borrow too. His favorite place is under a piece of driftwood looking out.

One of my Leucs loves to tunnel. I left a 1.5" vertical burrow that he sleeps in intact, but chose to shut down an 8" horizontal tunnel system that he built. As long as there is little danger of a collapse, tunnel flood or other harm then I wouldn't worry too much.
