I have some of the plastic squarish black hides in some of my leo tanks, but they seem to prefer hiding around the rock piles I siliconed together for them. I think it might just be that the rocks get nice and toasty from the lamps, but anyways, they are usually chilling out on top of the rocks or snoozing underneath them

I have some pretty rocks that I got from a pet store in mine. I also have the hollowed out log kinds and a coconut shell hide. They both seem to prefer their logs though
