Hi,

Richard has some very nice soft leaved broms availble. Just call him and see what he has. Broms are so popular that they do not list them on their site. This said, it is true that Ken and AJ have a much better selection.

I have no clue about Black Jungle's broms but you an find a great selection at ultra low prices from Ken at PeaceoftheTropics.com I just made a second order from him and ordered some NN. mosquito; little rose, G. lingulata, V. serene and some peperomias (watermelon and caperata). He is running a special until the end of January...any purchase over 25 dollars gets a free plant (I got a pilea aluminum) and I think orders over 35 gets a bromeliad of choice. I higjly recommend you check into what he has to offer...he's a great guy with a great service and ultra-low prices.

how big would these get? it said 6" but is that when its fully grown or when it's shipped. Anyone also know any Neo species that stay under 6" diameter?

Peaceofthetropic Jan 26, 2004 01:18 PM

The Neoregelia hojo rojo are 6-8 inches in diameter and approx. 6-8 inches tall. The ones I have in stock range from 4-8 inches. The ones I sell are offsets, but some are near mature size.

Other small Neoregelias I carry are:

N. nonis
N. mosquito
N. chiquita linda
N. red bird
N. pauciflora
N. pepper

These are the ones that stay under 6 inches (for the most part).
