Hello,
I just got a friend of mine a Red X Blue hybrid tegu the other day, and it was sitting on his shoulder and started to vomit.
Any ideas, is this bad or what?
Thanks

Was this water or other Items? And did it eat right before they picted up the tegu?

He ate some hard boiled egg, and he vomited after eating.
Thanks russ and stella for your input.
Handling after feeding , exposure to cool temperatures after feeding or anything else that causes stress could cause any tegu or any other reptile to regurgitate it's meal.
Ever look down to the streets from a tall building or any other high place only to get a queezy feeling in your stomach ? A tegu would pretty much feel the same way sitting on your shoulder . These lizards are not arboreal and do not feel comfortable when their feet are not firmly planted on the ground . This alone could cause him to regurgitate . A fall from 5'-6' could easily kill a tegu .. their bodies are not designed to climb so they do not take falls well.
