I read that they are expected to live 4-7 years in captivity. Females 2-5 depending on weather they are bred. I've read posters here mention 8 years and everyone responded with "WOW! thats a long time for a Cham" Its is not a long lived species. I just got one myself, 7 month old Ambanja X Nose Be. I wondered also if the different morphs have a life expectancy difference. Hoping my guy will break a record; I'm already so attached to him. I had a dog that lived til almost 19years old.
