I plan to pick up a couple crested geckos in early July at a reptile show in Toronto (I hope they have cresties there anyway) but I want to make sure I have everything I need for the cresties when I bring them home. So I have included the list of things I still have to pick up before July. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
20-30 gal tank, tall. (maybe two 10 gal, or 20 gal)
Branches and logs for climbing
Fake plants (not sure what live plants would be good to have in the cresty cage, so will go with fake for now)
A couple hides, one ground, one elevated, made moist with moss
Feeding bowl
quarter inch crickets
baby food fruits (or fresh fruits mashed...haven't decided which I will go right now)
Humidex for enclosure
Thermometer with probe
Multivitamin (are the multifitamines for bearded dragons ok for cresties?)
Rep Cal calcium with D3
Not sure on the substrate right now, but most likely it will be the all purpose and easy to use paper towel.
Anything I am missing?
Course I could always leave them out and claim I have the ultra rare 'ghost' cresties
