Im excited to be getting into patternless albinos! Im getting 1.0 patternless albino 0.1 albino het patternless and 0.1 double het patternless x albino. Im happy to be starting with a true patternless albino male instead of all hets.

I have been coming here since like 1999, and still have my original leopard gecko. My interest has gone a little stale in the past year. Almost exactly this time last year I got some blazing blizzard double hets (triple hets if you count jungle) but my interst went stale and I never bred them.

I work at local pet shop and the other day a kid brought in a leopard gecko he didnt want anymore. It is a beautiful hypo tang female so of course I took it home! I guess she is what re-lit my interest.

It is my plan to produce the most beautiful patternless albinos out there. It will take many generation but I must be determined. By the end of this year I should have at least 5 females laying eggs and will be capable of producing:

normals
het blizzard
blizzard poss het tremper albino
tremper albino poss het blizzard
blazing blizzards (big BIG ?)
het rainwater albino
het patternless
rw albino het patternless
patternless het rw albino
patternless albinos (!)

I like having so many possibilities cause i wont know what will hatch out. In the next 6 months I hope to get some KILLER hypo tang/ct females to breed to the patternless albino and make some awesome double hets.

Best of luck to ya! And if you happen to want to sell your PA's for less than 500 dollars let me know. I would love to have a PA but i cant be spending money like that. I hope you hatch out some pretty ones.

PAs arent that much anymore... there are two in the classifieds right now, a female for $275 and a male for $300. When I finally produce some they wont even be worth that much anymore. It is possible to make your money back, or at least break even (after having to feed and take care of the geckos for so long it really adds up). Its all good as long as you arent just in it for the money! My boss told me the other day he would take all the baby leos I can throw at him. I figure I will give him all the normals and poss hets for like $15 a pop. Maybe he would be interested in albinos and blizzards for a little more. Its just good for me to know I have someplace I can unload them without having to sell them all individually and ship. I never understood when someone buys a $40 leo and then pays $35 for shipping!

Yeah, I only have 1.1 now though. The other girl never ate the entire time I owned her. I tried crickets, mealworms, giant mealworms, etc. For some reason she just wouldnt adjust. She somehow lived over 6 months without eating (she was probably drinking from her humid hide though) and didnt show much weight loss until the last week or two. It was really really odd. The other 1.1 are doing great.

Now that you mention I think she was the reason I got frusterated with the hobby and never tried breeding the other 2.

Good luck with your project. Question and maybe I just missed it. Are they tremper or rainwater albinos? Just curious.

The patternless albinos are rainwater. my blazing blizzard double hets are however trempers.

Good luck with your projects, I just started this year also and have 3 gravid females (one patternless, and two regulars, but they all are carrying hets for tremper albinos, blizzard, and jungle). I also just purchased a female Super Hypo Carrotail which I'm pretty excited to get. Now I just need to find a good matching shtct mail to pair her up with.

I'm getting mine from an ad I saw in the Classifieds (great place to find some deals) from HippieHerps. Flexible seller. Just waiting to pay in full this Wed, and might have him shipped out next monday so I can get the quarantine enclosure ready.

I'm glad you got your "Spark" back. It's easy to get discouraged when you have a sick animal in your collection and I'm sorry for the loss of your Leo. I love Patternless Albinos. Here is a pic of my male Patternless Rainwater. His name is "Simba".
