i havnt been to this forum for quite some time, because my dragons have been in brumation. I took them out a few weeks ago and they bred 2 days ago!!!!! it was so exciting, i have been trying to do this for quite some time! ive heard you should make sure she took to him by breeding the next day, so i tried yesterday but they didnt, she just ran away...so is this a good sign?> im weighing her everyday so i can see, and will put in a laying box in about 8-10 days. am i doin everything right? i have everyting ready for the babies, so yep! Also, she is only really eating supers...some bites of lettuce, she is free of parastites tho, and doesnt always eat everyday, any help here? thanks all, ill post pics soon!

My female laid her eggs exactly 23 days after I bred her. I didn't put in a laying container until she started getting restless and pacing the cage and digging into the shelf-liner.. which was 2 days before laying. I didn't even realize she was gravid until I felt the eggs in her belly. It's supposed to take 2-6 weeks for them to lay after being bred. No need to put in the laying box so early

If she's gravid, she should be eating like crazy soon! My female's gravid again and she's up to 6 supers a day, 10 pellets, and a handful of greens. I dust every feeding with calcium and dragon dust so she'll have enough to make the eggs.

Good luck!
