PICTURES OF MY RESC IG MUSSOLINI

edsonorellana Jun 06, 2003 07:54 PM

Here are some pictures I took of Mussolini in a cage.
NO this is not his regular enclosure, I only put him in this enclosure when I'm cleaning his indoor one.

I have a question about one of the pics, When I took him out on this particular day, it was a bit hot so he enjoyed it a lot! I did notice that he kept leaving his tongue out for minutes at a time. Any ideas as to why he.she would do that???

its possible that he is hot and trying to cool himself. what are the outside temps? because he cant move out of the heat (i am guessing) he could possibly be overheating

My Ig Does that when He gets too hot. It's panting..... If we're outside and He does that, I mist Him down with Cool water and move into the shade. If He's inside, I turn off all His heat lights and just leave the UVB lights on....
