hovabators...

do i still need to put water in the thermal trough in a Thermal Air Hovabator even though the delicups contain the proper humidity for leo eggs. btw i just received my hovabator from lllreptiles, and expecting eggs from my females.

No u do not need to put water in the hovabator.

That brand of hovabtor has a tendencies to dry out and kill eggs. You wont be able to get the temperature down past approximately 95*. You would need to find the fan wire and cut it so that the fan will not turn on. Then turning it into a still air hovabator.

Yea I think ByRandom thought it was the Turbo-Fan model. That model is known to dry out eggs and keep a high temperature.
