what weight should i breed my snake

i'd like to know about the weight a snake would have to be breeded at and a good tank size i could use

My limited experience is 700grams/ 1.5# minimum for males and 1500grams/3.25# for females.

It seems that the magic number that is tossed around is 1500 grams for females. Personally, I think this is far too light and I tend to wait until my females are at least four years of age and at least 2000-2500 grams. For the males, weight isn't as important as age (once again, something in the 3-4 year range). I use 3' neodesha cages for my adult bp's and they do very well in these cages (including my 35 year old). Hope this helps.

Males should be about 700 grams and females should be at least 1500 grams. I consider these weights starting points. You may hear from others that they breed their snakes at much smaller sizes - especially males. It does happen but I consider these instances exceptions rather than the rules to live by.
