cheap thermometer

chamsrcool Jan 26, 2004 06:48 PM

i found this awsome thermometer at lowes today. it has a ten foot cord that has a sensor on the end. the sensor can be stuck anywhere with a small peic of tape.

the main base has a switch which allows you to keep it on "outside" temp and it has max/min memory that can be cleared by you to start new temp tests.

its only $10 !!!

I can certainly identify with that! The indoor/outdoor thermometers you find at discount stores and home improvement centers are so much better than the ones they have out for reptiles, and they're often dirt cheap.

We always buy the ones made by Acu-Rite; they measure indoor and outdoor temps, humidity levels, and their probe has an eyelet so you can attach it with a screw. Only $15 at Wal-Mart. They've been misted on, pooped on, etc. and they're still going strong. Amazing. LOL
