How to Tell a Gravid Panther Chameleon

crazycreations Jan 26, 2004 08:28 PM

I put my female Panther Chameleon in with my male for about 30 minuets last evening. This evening my female is showing orange and black barring. Dose this mean she is gravid? If so, then how long till she will lay her eggs (when should I put a laying chamber in her cage). Thank you, all info is greatly appreciated.

she's probably gravid.

I'd also put a small shoe box full of dirt in here cage, when she starts doing some "test" digging you know she's ready for her laying box/trash can/bin. which should be somewhere around a month.
