Compatible cage mates???

SlipKorn Jan 26, 2004 09:01 PM

Would a 2 ft. yellow rat and a 2 ft. corn be compatible cage mates. I'm not sure of the sexes. Would either snake be territorial against the other or would they get along ok. I already know about not feeding together and stuff. Just wondering if they would get along. Thanks.

if there both males it wont work, if one is a male and the other a female u mite have a hybred, adn if there both females, then just watch them for a lil, but they should b ok

I wouldn't do it either way. Risks of stuff like parasites, disease, ect. Besides, the amount of room needed would cost just as much or more than seperate cages. Andy

....Longer response to same question on the Ratsnake Forum.
My opinion: 2 snakes/2 cages, ESPECIALLY if they are not the exact same kind of snake, and UNLESS you are a VERY experienced herper. Duffy
