Anyone know about the poly rack by boaphile?

earthpig23 Jan 26, 2004 09:07 PM

I was looking into getting one. I am purchasing a trio of ball pythons to breed and was wonering if the rack really was big enough for adult ball pythons? Any info would be helpful thanx.

I would say no. For an adult BP you need at least a 3' tub. Especially for the females.

Size is adequate for adult ball pythons, although just barely. The issue is: does the design allow for proper thermoregulation? I house my adult balls in containers of similar size, but perhaps a bit larger (28" by 15" by 6", and they are doing fine (and breeding). I recommend that you keep searching for someone who actually uses them and can describe the thermal gradient produced by the heating design.
