Who would have baby Argus Crosses available??

scottsummers Jan 26, 2004 10:04 PM

Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing a baby argus cross. Who would have them available at this time? Is there a better time of year that I should be looking?

I've seen a few posted, but they are mostly juvies or adults. I'm more interested in purchasing a baby cross.

Please let me know who would have them available (even in the near future)...

Thanks,

Scott S.

I'm still researching what I want to get.. (So atleast you know I'm not impulse buying this.)

I was curious, what are the major differences between an Ionides and a Argus cross? I mean.. Which one is calmer? How big can you expect an Argus Cross to get?

(I can't seem to find many sites that have information on the CROSS. And I've heard the cross is smaller and more colorful.)

Could you post a picture of an adult Cross?

Also, are Argus Crosses Argus x Gouldii? (Sorry for not knowing the genus for Arugs )

In my opinion they are one of the best monitors in the 3 to 4 foot range. The picture is an adult male.

Hey There I was wondering if you mind people asking you if they could look at your collection. I know Mike "Odatria" has and I was wondering if I could have a go at it maybe we can get together first lunch or something so we can get to know eachother. Earlier you told me you kept 18 different species and I was in AWE!!! I dont want to seem to suttle I live in nearby Fremont so if you dont get freaked let me know I just want to see how your husbandry is and cages and what not and admire your collection. If not its totally cool and I understand I just thought I would give it a shot since you wont know till you ask. You can ask Mark Bayless about me we chat all the time and have visited him.

thanks alex

I'm not that kind guy.
Seriously, I have a wife and two kids to look after. Inviting anyone I meet on the internet over would be irresponsible, but we could get together for lunch or something.
I am going to cut back on the number of species I keep by selling some off this year, I just need to decide what to keep.
