More patternless discussion

gex53 Jan 26, 2004 11:01 PM

Patternless morphs may be prone to kinked tail, but they are also one of the calmest morphs. I wouldnt mind if my patternless had a little kinked tail, i like him because he's out all the time and i can see him when i want. I cant get my patternless in a hide, but my other two (normal and tremper albino) i cant get them out. Here is my patternless in his favorite spot. He's here and sleeps here all day long.

Very nice, even my young patternless has a calmer personality than the others, he settled into my terrarium the fastest and ate almost literally after introduction.

Can you post a picture of your entire cage?

Here is my cage. Hope you arent expecting much, its nothing special. If anyones wondering why my three geckos are together, i quarentined for as long as i could, but my parents said it was time to get the extra tanks out. When i bought them, my mom agreed to a month of quarentine, she made me combine them after 3 weeks. It was the best i could do. I just feel fortunate that they let me have a pet. It took a year of convincing to be able to get a leopard gecko. Anyway, heres the tank. The calcium and mealworm dish is behind the exo-terra cave.

Just wondering, I have seen the cave a few times, do you usually keep the cover on it? Also what size is it? Was thinking about getting one since I see a few of them

I use the medium sized cave. It is plenty big enough. I've even seen all three geckos in it at the same time. It cost about 25 dollars at petsmart. And i keep the cover off. They dont mind. The cover really gets in the way and makes the tank look bad.

That is an adorable pic, he really looks comfortable

P.S. I haven't noticed a kinked tail in my patternless. They can develop later as they mature right?

Hey

I do believe they can grow out of kinks or into them. I bought a patternless het albino with a sligh kinked tail from garrick demeyer. She litterlally grew a out of a king in the tail in like 3 days it was wierd.

And it hasent come back?

Who knows
