BABIES!!!

PHFaust Jan 27, 2004 01:08 AM

Ok so did that title excite you enough. No these arent my babies. I am actually babysitting a bunch of new hatchlings for a friend and her hubby while they enjoy a warm vacation in hawaii. In payment I have received a new baby leo tort to go with my other one. Its a helluva learning experience too since my experience is limited.

Since i have several different breeds, I will post separate headers for each species. Just thought you all might enjoy.

Those are awesome sri lankan stars.
Where do you live? Because I would just love to babysit tortoises and turtles. They're just awesome.

These by far are the most entertaining of the torts out of the group. They are absolutely hysterical. And they have GREAT appetites as well. I MUST get one of these soon.

Whats the difference between Indian stars and Mainland stars?

I also have a few turtle babies. I only have pics of the one. still trying to get a clear pic of the Spanglers (Veitnames Leaf turtles) but I do have a somewhat good one of the Chinese three lined Box turtles. I really also must get a spangler. These guys are hysterical, interactive, and nosey. When I tossed in their worm peices, each grabbed one and then they all ran into circles.

I know I dont get chance to post here as much as I would like. I do tend to read as much as I can about the Leos and Russians. Just thought you all would enjoy these pics.

well are the Chinese three striped boxes the ones that are like totally rare and highly prized for medical purposes?
