when i bought my uro, they didn't tell me anything about his sex, age or type!
from the pictures of one of the pet stores it seems it's egyptian, but the price is high...i payed 80 dollars!
tha salesman said it was uromastyk maliensis, but i'm not sure which type exactly it is!
and please tell me how can i identify if he is male or female?
about age...i think he's about 1 year old (he is 4 inches long...with tail)
please help me with this!

im gunna take a huge guess and say Uromastyx hardwickii (indian Uromastyx)

I would guess Hardwicki also from that pic and that tail. Hardwicki's are the smaller of the Uro family.

That is a young Indian Uromastyx (Uromastyx hardwicki).

You will not be able to tell the sex at this age, and I would say that he is not even a year old at 4inches.

i thought it was egyptian by the coloration.

That is a Uromastyx Hardwicki and they can be sexed at that size but its not easy. The picture will have to show the top view of the whole animal, I would say that if the animal is 4 inches it was not taken care of very well because Hardwicki have not come in to the country for about a year now and based off of that the animal should be much bigger.

they may not come to your country for a year, but i'm from slovenia and here is one guy who sells his own uros...so my uro is captive born!
and a woman who had him before works in store and she has a lot of experiences with animals, and she also takes care of them good!
