Proper feeding techniques

Jefflo Jan 27, 2004 09:59 AM

I have a new veiled (Curly) and I was told the best method to feed him is to leave the crickets in a plastic cup for the chameleon to feed. I was told this will keep the crickets from chewing on the chameleon during times of rest. My question is should I keep the cup on the floor of the enclosure or suspend the cup in the canopy of the enclosure?

there is no right or wrong way of doing it. Do it how your chameleon likes. Try both. if he does not like it being on the floor elevate it.

I have 1 that wont eat out of a cup at all, and one that likes it stuck in the plant, the other 2 are fine climbing down to the ground to eat.
