i've noticed alot of people's ball's in this forum are not eating right now, is it due to the weather?? My 2003 male (he's roughly 30 inches) doesnt want to eat right now either it's been a little over 2 weeks, no sign of weight loss just yet so i'm not too worried. What i was wondering is there a certain time he will snap out of his fasting and start to eat again? should i continue to offer food weekly even though he probably isnt gonna take it? any advice is appreciated, thanks

James

BPs are known to go off feed for no reason at times. This is the time of year that many go off feed anyway. Don't fret. Just keep accurate weights (actually weigh your BP) and as long as he's not losing a lot of weight it's okay. My little 03 is still eating like crazy. I guess if mine went off feed, I'd continue to offer food weekly or even just try every other week. I'm not sure what others in this situation do though.

As long as he isn' t losing weight, I wouldn't worry about it. My BP routinely stops feeding from November to March, give or take a month (but he is an adult with more body reserves to call upon). I've had him for eighteen years and he's in good shape, despite his odd feeding schedule.
