Lol so this made me laugh last nite..
I filled up Aries' water bowl, last night, and some spilled onto the papertowel around it. So i notice a few minutes later, she is over by it, licking the wet papertowel.. and i KNOW she normally drinks out of the waterdish, cause i see her do it, so i igure, whatever she's just lickin the water up, for a change.. like my dog always licks up puddles of water on the patio after it rains lol.
So i watch her for awhile, its too cute.. Then she starts biting the wet paper towel, and like sucking on it.... so i put a stop to that before she started eating the papertowel. lol
So,definitely when I get my tax cheque in may, she will get a 20 gallon, and TILE lol no papertowel... little scamp

Mine does that too, and attacks water droplets on the tank sides after I mist.

mine used to pull at the paper towel as well. always licking it. i just also got mine a 20 gal. but i used astro turf. less expensive than tile and looks a little more natural to outside life than tile i think. have fun making a new setup for your leo!

My Juvi- blizzard eats crickets. And firstoff, he's not the best hunter. But there was a cricket, and he ate it, and another one waddled on by, and he bit at that one too! So then he was trying to eat two crickets at the same time. But didn't really succeed for the fact that he missed the second one.
Then, he saw a piece of dry peat moss that he kicked out, tail rattled, and tried to eat that too! And he missed like 10 times! I was getting worried, but then he englufed 5 other crickets and I rescued the peat moss! Lol
