In answer to your question, approximately half of one. Bullsnakes are large snakes that readily exceed 6 feet (in most populations). Some populations can reach 8 feet. A cage with the floor dimensions of a 20 long would only work for the first year or so or until the snake reached about 3 feet. After that you will need a larger cage (4 x 2 feet minimum).
