Baby Bearded Space??

I have a clutch of eggs hatching in about a month and was wondering how much space they need. I have a 40 gallon reptile tank 36" x 18" how many can I safely house in this tank??

You can house them all in that tank for a week or two. Then, you need to get some Rubbermaid bins and seperate them 4-5 to a bin according to size.
If you leave them all in one tank you run the risk of tail and toe nipping. Seperating them in to smaller groups will also allow you to tell if someone isn't eating.
