.... spike has been a lil grumpy still in burmation mode... and the babes are growing into adults ...dojo is 9 months and thinks its her turn to sleep but i won't let her (she does it anyway). and peppie.. well he is a lil monster.. aggressive, and huge at 5 months. but i think thats why i like him, full of personality..

yeah i am usually on the wd forum .. since i've had them the longest but.... i have been busy these past few months..so haven't been chatting anywhere.

And I also like, but have never had, a water dragon.
Always hear they get alot of nose rubs, as well as mouth rot, ever had these problems with yours?

Let me ask do you feed yours mice? I would not mind having one, they are very pretty, IF I could substitute the rodents with some cooked chicken or something ! hehehhe, I like cute little rodents !

yes...i have had mouth rot problems... suz my lil runt has had it on and off for 4 years... so as a result stunted her growth. she is only 17 inches long and a lil over 100 grams. but she is a cutie.

and i adopted frog last summer she is doing great, is gravid and is quite the character.

i used to have 6 water dragons but the hassle of water changes and humidity issues... along with how easily they can get stressed and ill... was enough for me to sell a few.

and yes i do feed them mice... but only frozen ones i buy... but i go through maybe 12 fuzzies in a couple of months, because they get a varied diet or mealworms, supers, nightcrawlers,and other big bugs. you could feed chicken if you can get them to eat it. you would have to wiggle it in the faces and hope they are hungry. i couldn't feed live mice.. i bought 3 a while back to breed but i couldn't think of feed the babies so now i have mice.

Yes, I admire there looks, I was looking at them alot for awhile, but as you confirmed , they seem to get stresses quite easy, and get their lil ailmnets.
So I never did. I also like the austrailian water dragon, males are spectacular !
But thye also seem to like rodents. No way could I look at a cute little mouse and do that, ahhhhhhhhhh

She is lovely though, and I wish you alot of luck with your gravid girl.

haha he seems to have a very menacing look about him,like as if to say,the minute your backs turned im gonna fill the waterdish with sand
