Fat Tail Geckos

mblons Jan 27, 2004 06:26 PM

Do we have a majority opinion of the best substrate for a Fat Tail? I will be keeping them in 32 Qt. Sterlite so appearance not as important as smell elimination, ease of cleaning, etc. Has anyone used those liners you can get for the sterlites? Also, should humidity area be in hot or cool spot in cage? Thanks everyone.- Mark

You can use paper towels and put the humid hide on the warm side.

I've kept fattails on bed-a-beast as well. It kept humidity well, but I wouldn't use it for anything other than adults because of the risk of impaction.
