IAD is coming! Who is planning on going?

frogboy310 Jan 27, 2004 07:04 PM

Just wanted to get an idea how many people are planning on going this year from around the country. If anyone is bringing any special PDFs for sale(ie. thumbnails). I am planning on going to do some buying. Also any one else dissappointed about the Pa Zoo I was expecting to see the Baltimore Zoo I missed it last year and ive seen spectacular pics. Does anyone know if they will let people do that this year if they choose.

I will be going next year I hope!

I'll be there (45 minute drive for me). I'm also not keen on the Philly zoo - perhaps they need to communicate more on the planned activities. I was hoping for a NAIB behind the scenes tour, but I suppose thats been done.

How can i get involved in these "behind the scene" tours? I'm hoping to be able to get down to the show but it'll be a many hour drive.

In the past 2 years I have been you had to sign up for tickets on the IAD website, but I don't see that they are for sale yet. The sold tickets to the show both days, talks and dinner Friday night, and behind the scene tours. This year the tour is at the PA zoo. I don't know if they are planing to have any others available this year and only time will tell.
I look foward to meeting you all!

It is a 11 Hour drive for me. I was looking forward to a behind the scenes tour again this year. If any has info on how to get one of these set up...Or maybe we could contact IAD about this interest. Please let me know!

I am debating on going, it would be a good excuse to visit family there. Of course it is on the same weekend as our show here in Kentucky. But it seems silly to go when I have a free place to stay and have to go see family anyways. How many vendors are usually there? I am surpriesed they aren't doing a tour at the National Aquarium, they have a really South American displays with fish and frogs. Plus there are alot of nice Fish/reptile stores to visit in the area. We used to live in the area, but I never went to the amphibian or reptile shows.
