I've been searching for some good books on horned frogs. I came across this one book titled -- Horned Frogs (General Care and Maintenance of Series).

There are not too many books devoted just for them horned frogs. I already have the one by Barlett and I want another one.

Have ANY of you read the book by Philippe De Vosjoli and is it any good at all? Is it worth buying? Thx much.

It wasn't terribly helpful & I've been told on this forum that some of the info is woefully out of date, so as not to be usefull any more. There is no info on disease in there, either. Bummer...

Just out of curiosity, what information in the book is outdated? It's been awhile since I've seen it.
Thanks
David

1) Mice and fish ALONE make a perfect diet for the frogs.
2) Frogs should be kept on and gravel and water set up.
Need I go on?

good back in the day when it was written and little was known about horned frogs compared to what we know now. Go for the book about horned and african bullfrogs by RD Bartlett. He's a great guy, good info, and nice pics. Andy

I have that book also. I pretty much agree with it, except that it says that mice are OK to use as feeders sometimes. But the book has great color photos.
