double check on Albon dosage from new vet?

herpluvr Jan 27, 2004 11:25 PM

I changed vets, because of bad experience. I just took in fecals on my two dragons. Pumpkin got the all clear, but Gem has major coccidia! They did a float and let me look at the slide. It was covered! She was treated for coccidia and pinworms @ 12wks, she is now 18wks. He said to give .2ml per day for 12days. The last weight I had was from 1/24 @ 155grams, but I just weighed her and she is 166grams. Does this sound right? Length of treatment and amount? Sorry so long Bad problems with the first vet, so am being very cautious. Thanks in advance

there are sveral different dosage possabilities. the one I use is 50mg/kg 50mg/ml daily for 5 days so a 100g animal = .1cc
I also give a probiotic and pedialite with it.

Yes. It has ml and drps readings on it. I assume drps means drops?
