During cooling can I......?

piebaldpython Jan 28, 2004 04:47 AM

Attempt feeding and misting? My rack is dropping in humitity and I would like to get it back up but I am presently cooling. Ambient on the cool end during the day is approx. 80deg F with a 90deg F hot spot. At night the ambient at cool end is 68-70deg F with a 72deg F hot spot. Night lasts 14 hours. If I mist will the animal be able to get it's body temp back up before I cool for the night? Any help or insight into cooling would be appricated.

Thanks

Dave

Yes attemp feeding (most males will be off feed, some females will probably eat)and if misting is a big concern you can mist in the morning once your DTH kicks in. Hope this helps
