In one word, "awesome". After the little guy thawed out I, named
frosty, I can understand why people rave about them. After an hour or so of thermoregulating frosty was eating crickets even took one from my fingers. After basking awhile it decided to explore its new home, dug a tunnel under the stack I made for them.(second one is coming this morning.)Active herp considering it was the first day. My experience has been that it usualy takes a day or two for a herp to settle in not this guy, wow. So far I must say i'm happy. I just hope there is no future complications due to shipping/acclimating. If anyone has any suggestions or signs I should look out for I would be thankful for the input.svl 4"-5" guestimation I didn't want to handle frosty to much nor the other one till I feel that their out of the woods and somewhat settled in. I've got them in a 20 just for now low end ambients are 85, top of the stack is 115-125 fluctuates somewhat. obviously cooler at night but using a 60 watt ceramic heat emittter and a under the tank heater with 4"-5"
of soil above it. Any suggestions at all would be welcomed.
