How many clutches per breeding season?

On average, How many clutches does a single female produce per season?thanks

I don't breed BP's, so I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all my research has said that bp's lay one clutch per year; people rarely double clutch like they might with a colubrid.

Actually you don't always even get one. More experienced breeders with older well fed females probably get pretty close though.

I believe 0.7 is an approximation of the number of clutches.

When rounding errors are removed from the equation, anywhere from 0.68324 to 0.73198 clutches per year is the probable norm.

I believe we are currently running somewhere around 0.68421.

For anyone that isn't sure...I am JUST KIDDING...

One clutch per year as far as I know. I do not know if people try for two or not. I let mom do the incubation so I would not stress her more than one a year.
