Forum Members-

I have some good news, okay lots of good news!

First thing I adopted 1.2 group of Rhampholeon uluguruensis and just received them today. I have them set up in a 20gal. acrylic tank, with small variegated Umbrella trees (2), (1) Orchid, (3) Wax plants (vines), red leafs (ground cover), (2) large branches, 5" Supper Soil, and a large feeding cup. I have silkworms that just hatched and crickets that just started hatching today. I will have FF (fruit flies) SOON. Pictures will be posted soon, I am having trouble getting my camera to take good pictures, the lighting in my house is off (bad weather, too much glare). I will fix things and get them out ASAP. I love there blue eye torrents (blue color like a Pepsi can). Morgana I would love to see a full view picture of your set up if you have a picture of it! The females are huge, I don't know if they are gravid or not, time will tell.

Second thing, I got the screen for my outdoor cages, had to special order it. I have two cages finished less the doors out of 8 cages. I will also have pictures of the cages and my setup soon. I should have everything done with in a week. Pictures will be posted on my site with plans SOON, just have to work the bugs out!LOL

Third, I saved the best for last!LOL. My Ambilobe female is gravid and will be laying eggs in the weeks to come. The plan is to have the outdoor cages done, and to use these cages for housing her while she lays her eggs. She is the most colorful female I have seen, I have pictures of her on my site.

So I have my hands full for the next few weeks. I will keep you all updated on everything. I have added allot of new info to my site, if you have not checked it out in the past few weeks, take a look. My male Ambilobe was the first to test out one of the new cages, he loved it, he was climbing all over the place. He is to spoiled, but worth every penny. My main goal is to get all the cages done, this will free up alot more of my time. So far everything seems to be going as planed.

Lele-

They are about 1 1/2" so I am not sure if they are full grown, I don't think they are! I just now saw one of the females eat a tiny silkworm, and another. I think they like the worms!LOL I posted pictures on my site of them, the picture quality is better then the one I sent you, the ones on my site are the best I can do for now!

Enjoy!

But the tails have fallen off of those chams... I think that you need to send them to me and I will take care of them for you.

Sorry, couldn't resist. They look fascinating. I think we're lucky that you have them, because we'll be able to see the updates.

Thanks so much for sharing these pics. Don't get to see those too often.

John.......

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
You will love the ulu's.... fun to observe too.

I posted lots of pictures of the set up and the ulu's in our membership album at "[bleep] forum" - want the addy? I haven't figured out how to post pictures here (unless they are in our gallery). Don't forget lots of sturdy twigs for highways - we use corkscrew willow twigs. They perch on this at night - or plants.

Also... "good job" on your ambilobe female! Watch closely, as I have heard of them lay within 3 weeks of mating (a friend has several ambilobe/siramas).

Talk soon,
