2-headed russian!

dunno if y'all have seen it yet, but i check out the classifieds every so often, and saw the ad for this unique little bugger. thought some might be interesting in having a gander!

how cute, and pricey! i wonder how healthy it'll be as it grows up. i'd be curious to see an x-ray.

Does this tortoise have a decent chance of making it to adulthood? I notice they're asking for a lot of money for it, and I was curious as to whether this would be a good investment for someone who has that kind of capital.

The odds are that it is not genetic in nature. So, it probably is not an inheritable trait.
That animal is coming up on almost a year old and as of a month ago it was alive and well. I'm going to try and get some updated pictures this month.
I don't see what kind of investement potential accept as a freak.
I know of 2 headed snakes that have gone for $10,000.00 and they are much more common. As the tortoise gets older and grows it might be worth it for some zoo or tourist trap to pick it up as a crowd draw. That's the only investment potential I can see.
