By "levels" do you mean shelves?
And if you mean shelves.. popscicle sticks? Are you serious? How about cardboard, or string? C'mon man! I've got to laugh.
OK now that I've insulted you (only kidding, really), maybe I can offer some help here.
Method #1 - easy and quick:
Cut a piece of 1x4 pine to the width of the tank inside glass wall to inside glass wall. Use silicon aquarium sealant to fix the shelf in place. That's it. Note: This is for light-weight snakes like colubrids, not for a giant boa. If you ever need to remove the shelf, use a razor blade to cut the silicon.
Method #2 - better:
Cut 1x1 aluminum angle to make a bracket the width of the shelf (make two brackets.) Silicon them on opposite walls. Cut a piece of wood or expanded PVC plastic (avail in sign shops) and sticky-back-tape it to the brackets or else put a few small beads of silicon to hold it there.
Method #3 - best:
Get popscicle sticks, paper, string & tape... kidding!
i like your idea for the brackets im gonna desing something like it tomorrow but basicly a stand to put some slate floor tile on then aspen and a hide on top of that. with the popsicle sticks i was going to desing different stuff too, i dunno where u got string from? i had different ideas for things that can work for it but i dont want to risk the snakes getting slivers ne way thanks for the ideas
