Species which do well at room temperature:
Cynops ensaudica up to 80F/30C
Tylototrition verrucosus up to 30C
Pleurodeles waltl 75F
Cynops pyrrhogaster 75F
Ambystoma tigrinum at 24C/75F
Pachytriton labiatus 75F
Neurergus kaiseri 80F

I agree with most of these as max. temperatures. However, for most of them, these are the absolute MAXIMUM temperatures that they can endure. Most of them would NOT do well if kept at these temps all the time.

I agree with the previous post, with rare exeptions, newts and salamanders do not tolerate temperatures above 70 degrees F. for long periods of time; this is why you'll find the majority of Caudates in the Northern Temperate/Semi-Temperate region.
Perphaps you should get a different amphibiam.
