This is a "deck storage box" that I got for $40 and converted to a snake cage. I attached a tube light inside, cut a hole in the top for the heat emitter and cut a window out of the front and screwed a piece of plexiglass there. I siliconed all the inside edges as well. It holds humidity great and has some insulating properties so maintaining optimium conditions is really easy. I think it looks pretty nice as well. My huge ball python lives in their.

here is how I installed the heat emitter. Pretty easy, inexpesive and secure. I wouldn't keep a hugge boa in it though. Getting decent snake enclosures around here is hard to do.
