My class and I are studying ecology and we have been challenged basicly to recreate an ecosystem. Now, since my group and I agreed to have the Desert Horned Lizard be our main focus and from my understanding the horned lizard needs help. If we do this right we can get a grant to make this bigger and actually be able to help conserve horned lizards and study more about ecology. Not only help the horned lizards but other species as well. But, we want your help. You guys obviously have experience with horned lizards and we want answers. See we want to make an enclosure as close to its natural habitat as possable. Some problems are that we don't have alot of space and we don't have alot of money. Unless we get this grant. For example we were thinking of acually putting an ant hill in its enclosure or planting the same plants as there are in its natural habitat.
thing is. Can we do this? Should we do this? How can we do this? And pros and cons? If any of you have any ideas on what we can do please share we would grately appreciate it.
Thankyou
