?'s... My calking and amel corn bred............

FireDrake Jan 28, 2004 06:57 PM

Hey I know there's not a lot of traffic here, but thot I'd give this a try, I successfully got my amel corn male to breed my chocolate and yellow cal king female (who was given to me as a male, lol)
This may be a stupid question, but the cal kings gestation will be normal for her species right? I mean, in terms of length. And I am assuming I treat the eggs like cal king eggs? Not that it is very different than corn incubation.....right?
And the babies will be Jungle Corns right? Or is that with a different kingsnake?
Sorry so many questions, I am new to this hybrid stuff. But have seen so many very nice snakes here I thought I'd give it a shot.

Thanks!
FireDrake

Yeah, everything should go as with normal breeding. Now if you were to breed a BOA with a female cal king...LOL Seriosly though, yes, you will end up with some normal looking jungles. I have never followed cross genus breeding too closely, so I don't know how the het. amel. stuff works with that. Regarding the name, I don't think the type of king matters too much. Though I'm sure some new trendy nicknames will come out. Good luck-Brett
