Could he be about to shed?? (Pics)

This is the darkest i've seen my patternless yet. I know that geckos change color alot and all that, but i've never seen a gecko shed before. Just wondering if he could be about to or if he was just dark today for some reason.

This is a comparison from 3 days ago.

The colours will look duller before a shed, attaining a silvery grey look. On a patternless leo, that could very well be what they look like in pre-shed.

My female turned that color once because her heating pad wasn't heating like I thought it was. So make sure your temps are correct.
