Dart frogs do shed, but mainly in the morning.
I wouldn't worry, feel lucky you got to see it..

Hi,
As Ben said dart frogs shed their skin in the morning. They also eat their skin if im not mistaken. I noticed one of my azureus was shedding this morning when I was feeding, I droped a few FF's on his head and he/she took a break from working off its skin to eat the flies.

Normal behavior, this also keeps their skin clean by shedding.
